End of Month Dance

The End of Month (EoM) Bush Dances are normally held on the last Saturday in the month, from March to October excluding public holiday long weekends. Please check back here or on the MFS Calendar as all events are subject to change.

No need to bring a partner, no need to book, just turn up at the door for a great night out.

Dress
Good casual, comfortable for dancing.

Supper
Please bring a contribution to the supper.

Drinks
Tea, coffee, cordial and water are available, costing $1 for a “bottomless” cup which you can refill throughout the whole night. Or BYO water, cordial or soft drinks.

Cost
Just $19 for adults, $17 for group entry and concessions, $14 for MFS members, $9 for students (18 and over), all under 18s free.
No booking required – tickets at the door.

BUT BEFORE THAT…. don’t forget the New Year’s Eve dance on 31 December 2018 at the Woolshed.
When: Monday, 31 December 2018   from 8:00 pm until after we see the New Year in.
Where: The atmospheric Yarralumla Woolshed
Dance the evening away with the “Yarralumla Woolshed Hoppers” led by Dave Johnson.  Calling by Don Richmond.  All dances taught and called, so no experience necessary.

Cost is just $25 for adults, $23 for group entry and concessions, $20 for MFS members, $13 for students, under 18s free.
No booking required – tickets at the door.

Please bring a plate of supper to share. BYO drinks but entry price includes a bottomless cup of tea, coffee, water or cordial.

New Year’s Eve Dance

Dance the evening away with the bush Band “Yarralumla Woolshed Hoppers ” led by Dave Johnson.  Calling by Don Richmond.  All dances taught and called, so no experience necessary.

Entry prices to this is just  $25, $23 for Groups and concessions, $20 for MFS members (you can join at the door), $13 for students (see below), under 18s free.


The Colonial Ball has different pricing as it includes a fully catered supper, please check the event link for full details.   This is held in September at the Albert Hall – 28 September in 2019.

 

STUDENT PRICES

Full-time (over 18) students are offered half price entry to regular bush dancing events, or discounted rate for special dances at the Yarralumla Woolshed and for the Colonial Ball, just show your student card. (Under 18’s are free at all events.)
