The End of Month (EoM) Bush Dances are normally held on the last weekend in the month (but may vary from time-to-time), from March to October excluding public holiday long weekends. Our next dance will be in November 2024 at the Canberra Baptist Church Hall in Kingston, ACT (see below for details)
No need to bring a partner, no need to book, just turn up at the door for a great night out.

Dress
Good casual, layered and comfortable for dancing.
Shoes
Please bring separate shoes to dance in, and change into these on arrival (to protect the wonderful wooden floor we dance on). Smooth soles are preferable, and certainly not knobbly, grippy ones.
Picnic
Please bring your picnic basket and rug.
Drinks
Tea, coffee, cordial and water are available, or BYO water, cordial or soft drinks.

Special Dances
New Year’s Eve Dance
Dance the old year out and the new year on 31 December 2024. All dances taught and called, so no experience necessary.
Entry prices to this event is just $30; $27 for Groups and concessions; $25 for MFS, Meetup and Dance Delights members (you can join MFS at the door) and interstate dancers; $20 for students (see below); under 18s free.
Where: The atmospheric Yarralumla Woolshed.
Colonial Ball
The Colonial Ball has different pricing as it includes a fully catered supper, please check the event link for full details. In 2019 this was held at the Albert Hall on 28 September in 2019. See the 2019 Colonial Ball page for more details. This event did not run in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024 due to Covid concerns.
STUDENT PRICES
Full-time (over 18) students are offered discounted rate for the New Year’s Eve dance at the Yarralumla Woolshed and for the Colonial Ball – just show your student card. Under 18’s are free at all events except the Colonial Ball (where entry is at a reduced price to cover catering only).
