An afternoon of foot tapping music and a chance to take a whirl around the dance floor.

At this event the CMO will present a concert of dance music from around the world, followed by the opportunity for audience members to join in a number of easy dances, called by Mark Simmons.

THE CANBERRA MANDOLIN ORCHESTRA

Formed in 2003, the Canberra Mandolin Orchestra (CMO) brings together players of mandolin, mandola, mandocello, guitar and bass. It keeps alive the rich tradition of the mandolin groups that emerged in the first couple of decades of the 20th century. The CMO’s repertoire is very wide, showing the versatility of its musicians.
