Bush and Folk Dancing – Beginner

 

A new daytime dance class has just been established as a trial.  It is being run as a course under the University of the Third Age (U3A), in association with MFS.

It is designed for beginner dancers and covers a range of dancing genres familiar to MFS participants. Organised by one of our dance members, Bruce Taplin, it will feature guest callers and live music by Ray Mulligan & friends.

If you are not already a U3A (University of the 3rd Age) member you will need to join (see below), however it is a very low cost dance workshop and U3A offers many other activities that may interest you.

 

Where:               Yarralumla Uniting Church Hall   Location

When:                Thursday 2.00 – 3.00pm

Cost:                   $20 for ten sessions or $3 per session

Dance Styles:    Mixture of folk dances from different genres

Duration:          10 weekly sessions starting 6 February and finishing 9 April

Target level:      Beginner, so starting with simple walking dances

NOTE:    It would be appreciated if you could arrive ten minutes early at your first attendance to process your enrolment.
